International Cooperation
HCMCOU has collaborated with various foreign institutions and organizations to promote research, academic and cultural exchange among lecturers and students through the followings:
- The programs offering Master degrees with Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium); University of Ballarat, University of Southern Queensland (Australia), Berlin School of Economics and Law (Germany).
- Programs of voluntary English teachers and other programs of staff exchange in IT, economics, Southeast Asian studies and sociology.
- Student exchange programs with Kyungnam University (Korea); National University of Kaohsiung (Taiwan); Michigan Community College (USA), and University of Malaya (Malaysia).
HCMCOU also receives support and funds from NGOs of Japan, England, and Canada in facilitating the labs, furnishing materials for distance education, and teaching languages. The Ford Foundation, World Vision International, Church World Service, RaddaBarnen, and Oxford University have provided strong support since 1993 in developing educational materials, training of social workers, conducting research and granting scholarships to students.
