HCMCOU follows the Decree 28/CP of the Prime Minister in reducing the tuition fee for privileged, poor students, the handicapped and orphans. HCMCOU also heartily participates in the program of sponsoring the Heroic Mother, building houses for the poor and helping the victims of natural disasters.

The students’ Union offers students opportunities for new experiences. It provides activities not only to help students relax, but also to offer many support services, including:

- Studying support activities, English club, IT club, ASEAN club.

- Sports activities, social activities, leisure activities, entertainment.

- Information on the latest job vacancies, and advice on part-time and full-time jobs and careers.
