Ngày 15/3/2013 Trường Đại học Mở Tp.HCM sẽ vinh dự đón tiếp Giáo Sư Ngô Bảo Châu cùng đoàn đại biểu Bridges (chuỗi sự kiện được tổ chức bởi Qũy Hòa Bình thế giới-International Peace Foundation nhằm đưa các nhà khoa học đoạt giải Nobel đến giao lưu tại các nước Đông Nam Á). GS. Ngô Bảo Châu sẽ thuyết trình khoảng 40 phút với chủ đề “Chúng ta học như thế nào?” và giao lưu với sinh viên, giảng viên của Trường Đại học Mở Tp.HCM.
Chương trình cụ thể như sau:
14:00: Khai mạc buổi đối thoại
14:05: Giới thiệu về chuỗi sự kiện “Bridges – Dialogues Towards a Culture of Peace” của Ông Uwe Morawetz – Chủ tịch sáng lập International Peace Foundation.
14:10: Thuyết trình của Giáo sư Ngô Bảo Châu: “Chúng ta học như thế nào?”
15:00: Giao lưu và đặt câu hỏi
15:50: Trao quà lưu niệm
16:00: Kết thúc buổi đối thoại

Dialogue with Professor Ngo Bao Chau.
On March, 15th, 2013, Ho Chi Minh City Open University has the honor of courtesy welcome to Professor Ngo Bao Chau and Bridges’ delegation (event series held by The International Peace Foundation). By bringing Nobel Laureates to Southeast Asian countries, Bridges aim at building bridges through Nobel Laureates with local universities and other institution to establish long term relationship which have resulted in common research programs and other forms of collaboration. Professor Ngo Bao Chau will give a speech of about 40 minutes with the topic: “How we learn?”, then having a dialogue with students, lecturers of HCMCOU.
The program as followed:
14:00: Welcome remarks by Rector (or other representative) of Ho Chi Minh City Open University.
14:05: Introduction of the 4th ASEAN event series “Bridges-Dialogues towards a Culture of Peace” by Mr. Uwe Morawetz, Founding Chairman of the International Peace Foundation.
14:10: Keynote speech by Professor Ngo Bao Chau.
15:00: Question and answer session.
15:50: Presentation of gifts/ souvenirs to Professor Ngo Bao Chau
16:00: Closure of the event and reception for VIPs and Professor Ngo Bao Chau.
