On October 21^st 2015, at Hoa Binh Theatre, all 2,700 freshmans of the class of 2015 and professors representing Board of Rectors, guests from organizations, professors and officers of Ho Chi Minh city Open University participated in the opening ceremony of 2015-2016 academic year.

The year 2015 marks 25 years of growing and developing of HCMC Open University. The university pledges to complete its mission of encouraging learning society by providing knowledge via the most flexible and convenient methods for learners.
