• Get familiar with some Career Planning Models
• Identify steps in Career Planning

Unit 2 – Hiring Process

Through Unit 2, students will:

• Understand why companies hiring, in an employer’s perspective
• Be aware of various steps in the hiring process
• Know the expectations in each hiring step
• Reflect to each individual case

Unit 3 – Finding a Job

11:00 am – 12:15 pm

Through Unit 3, students will:

• Identify what to prepare for job hunting
• Be aware of where jobs are posted
• Know different ways to find job openings

Unit 4 – Preparing Job Application

1:30 pm – 2:45 pm

Through Unit 4, students will:

• Understand what is expected in a job application
• Know the role and how to write effective resumes
• Know the role and how to write effective cover letters

Unit 5 – Job Interview

Through Unit 5, students will:

• Understand what is expected in a job interview
• Know what to prepare for an interview
• Know what to follow up after an interview
